Our rules and expectations for maintaining a respectful, safe, and valuable community.

Our Community Values

Novio Plus is built on the foundation of mutual respect, knowledge sharing, and constructive collaboration. We expect all members to contribute positively to create a welcoming environment for everyone.

Do:

  • Be respectful and inclusive
  • Share knowledge generously
  • Credit original sources
  • Use constructive criticism
  • Report violations appropriately

Don't:

  • Harass or bully others
  • Share hate speech or discrimination
  • Spam or self-promote excessively
  • Share illegal or harmful content
  • Create fake or duplicate accounts

Content Standards

Quality Questions

Ask specific, well-researched questions. Provide context and share what you've already tried. Check if your question has already been answered before posting.

Helpful Answers

Provide accurate, detailed answers. Explain concepts clearly and share credible sources when applicable. If you're not sure, acknowledge the limitations of your knowledge.

Constructive Discussions

Disagree respectfully. Focus on ideas, not individuals. Add value to conversations rather than repeating what others have said.

Moderation System

We use a transparent 3-strike system to handle violations:

First Strike

Warning for minor violations. No immediate restrictions, but the violation is recorded. An explanation is provided with reference to the specific guideline violated.

Second Strike

Moderate violations result in temporary restrictions (24-48 hours) from posting new content. The user receives detailed feedback about their violation and how to avoid future strikes.

Third Strike

Serious violations lead to a 7-day account suspension. During this time, the user cannot access most platform features. This serves as a final warning before permanent removal.

Note: Strikes reset after 30 days of good behavior. The strike system ensures fair treatment while maintaining community standards. For immediate and serious violations (e.g., illegal content, credible threats), we reserve the right to skip the strike system and ban accounts immediately.

Reporting Violations

Help us maintain a healthy community by reporting violations:

  1. Use the "Report" button on any content (questions, answers, comments)
  2. For users, visit their profile and use the "Report User" option
  3. Provide specific details about the violation
  4. For urgent issues (harassment, threats), use our Contact Us page immediately

Important: We do not reveal the identity of reporters. All reports are confidential. False reporting or abusing the report system may result in strikes against your account.

Appeals Process

If you believe a moderation action was made in error, you can appeal the decision:

Gather Information

Collect relevant details including post ID, timestamps, and specific concerns.

Submit Appeal

Visit our Contact Us page and select "Appeal Moderation Decision".

Review Process

Our moderation team will review within 48 business hours and respond.

These guidelines are designed to foster a positive, productive community where knowledge flows freely and members feel safe to ask, learn, and share. By using Novio Plus, you agree to abide by these guidelines.
